1974 Jaguar E-Type V-12 Roadster For Sale in Vandreuil-Dorion, Quebec, Canada J7V1E5 Meet some amazing eye candy that goes way beyond looks! Our 1974 Jaguar E-Type V-12 Roadster has undergone a complete nut and bolt restoration. It was restored to a level ‘'2'' as per the Hagerty car valuation tool, so to achieve a pristine reliable safe driver. Engine and drive train were all opened-up and all worn parts replaced with original parts, including all gaskets, rubber and new heavy duty engine mounts installed. Engine not rebuilt because compression was good at time of disassembly. The body was completely stripped down to the shell and the paint was removed right down to bare metal. It was then primed with an epoxy primer and any dent was repaired. The car then received a two stage paint, 2 coats of base ‘'Regency Red'' original color and 3 coats of clear. The clear coat was wet-sanded with 1000 grit then 1600 grit and polished. Paint below bumper line firewall and sub frame in 1 stage polyurethane paint for easy touch-ups if ever needed.
