2002 Ford Thunderbird Deluxe Convertible for Sale in Parker, CO 80134 The 2002 Ford Thunderbird revisited the first generation 1955 to 1957 Thunderbird, right down to bright 1950s colors and two-seat configuration. The chassis and engine were shared with the Lincoln LS and Jaguar S-Type. The AJ-30, 3.9-liter V-8 engine cranked out 250 horsepower and 0-60 came up in seven seconds through a 5-speed automatic transmission. Like the earlier model, the Thunderbird was promoted as a “personal luxury car,” not a sports car. This convertible is shown in Thunderbird Blue with matching leather interior. As you can see in the photos, this car is stellar in every way. In addition to power steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes, power windows, power door locks and tilt steering column, the car has the removable port hole hard top and a power convertible soft top. Also included is the hardtop trolly for safe storage of the roof when it is not mounted on the car. It also comes with the tonneau/boot cover for the soft top when it is in the down position. This car is a time capsule and has been a garage queen for its entire 20-year life. There is one touched up scratch about 1/2 inch long on the right side of the front bumper cover that I cannot get to show up in a picture. There is a very minor abrasion in the black portion of the rear license plate pocket trim that is pictured. A new Ford OEM service replacement for this part is included with the purchase. The wheels are NOT curb rashed and shine like new.
