Probably more HP since #13 heads were ported and polished and; mild cam installed. - Hardened valve seats were installed to handle today's unleaded fuel. - Competition CAMS 0.442/0.465 lift w/ .050 duration installed for mild HP boost, and still maintain 17 manifold vacuum for the AC system. - Rochester Quadrajet numbers matching 7040564, jets set to run a bit rich to help engine run cooler - New belts and hoses installed in 2012 - 1970 cruise control (removable bolt in) added in 1998 is correct for 1970 - Mega-Tron plus battery installed to handle the cranking amps for this large engine with high compression ratio (10:1). Also upgraded starter cable to heavy duty 2 gage thickness. - IGNITION SYSTEM: Pertronics Electronic Ignition installed (under factory cap) for improved reliability by replacing points, Pertronics flame thrower solid core spark plug wires for reliability, and Pertronics coil for stronger spark. This car comes with two transmissions - Turbo Hydromatic 400, factory tranny with the PY tranny code - The installed 200-4R that has a lower 1st gear and an overdrive with locking torque converter for improved cruising gpm (about 16 gpm vs the 11 gpm before) - 200-4R was rebuilt in 1999 with improved parts good for 600 HP (car is 350+HP) Interior - Interior was refurbished in 2012 o New headliner, new saddle seatcovers (rare), door panels, carpet, dash pad from Just Dashes, instrument cluster, radio, dash tach, kick panels, package tray, extra insulation, etc. o Dash Tach installed in place of factory Clock o Dash Tach and harness is from Year One with modern components, but is correct for the year/car. o Numbers matching clock from dash comes with the car - Radio installed with 2012 interior refurb is a factory replica radio but has modern internal components. It has 45w / channel going to 4 Infinity Speakers and sounds great! It also has AUX input cable available which I have in the glove box for your iPod or smart-phone to pipe music into the system. Exterior - This GTO was in dry, dry California until I brought it to Texas in Oct 1997. GTO has been in a garage ever since. There is no rust on this car that I am aware of. - Paint Color is Palomino Copper.
