1970 Ford Mustang For Sale in Brighton, Michigan 48116 This MACH 1 has been in my family since 1991. It was restored as you see it in 1997 and finished in 1999 and still looks great. It is painted the original Dark Ivy Green metallic, paint code 2C. I think it was a rare order as I've never seen one with the options it has. but I have never researched further. It is a factory M code 351 Cleveland 4V with a 4 spd toploader and factory A/C but with out Power Steering or Power disc brakes. Since the main restoration was complete in the late 90's, it has many original parts as they were still available. The drivetrain has been modified since the original restoration. Same 351 Cleveland but it has been stoked with a Speed O Motive 408 stroker kit and runs on standard premium fuel with a mild hydraulic cam shaft. The transmission is a TKO 600 5 Speed transmission with a Kiesler Hydraulic Clutch actuator, Dual Force center force clutch and a QuickTime scatter shield. The 9 inch Posi traction has a 3:89 ratio. With the .64 overdrive of the TKO this car is very driveable and can cruise at 70 mph around 2300 rpm. All of the best parts have been used. The interior is in great condition with all new seat covers. All of the glass is original Ford Carlite.
